Haus Waldlust in Wiesbaden

The best goose in Wiesbaden keeps what it promises. Perfect goose, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with an ingenious sauce, wonderful Christmas red cabbage, dumplings and chestnuts! More is not possible! We are super satisfied and full, just like last year, albeit to go this year! Simply delicious. We have also eaten very well here on several occasions! 👍We'd love to come back

In the pandemic, offers food to go, home-made food at its best.

Have ordered goose to go for 11/22/2020 (2 legs, 2 breasts). Was recommended to us. We were all excited. Goose crispy. But also dumplings, sauce and red cabbage are very good. Price / performance top (19.90 / person). Clear recommendation!

Delicious home-style cooking and very good service ... I really enjoy eating here because it tastes good and the beef roulades taste like my grandmother's 😋 The schnitzels are great too. Very good meat quality. I always feel very comfortable, welcome and homely ... eat, like with my mother 😊 All dishes can also be picked up! Keep up the good work❣

Really good! The food was successful all round, the dessert homemade. We had different dishes and everything was tasty and fresh. Big recommendation, we hope that this restaurant will survive the Corona period, we would like to come back :) Corona rules are followed ambitiously.

The restaurant is one of my grandparents' regulars and they have taken us here for the third time. Fresh, very good food (and dessert first!). Also really nice, funny service and a pleasant atmosphere :) The Corona measures are also perfectly complied with, which is of course nice for my grandparents ♡ I definitely hope that our next visit to Wiesbaden will end here again;)

Although we only came shortly before closing, we were served in a friendly manner, we even got food. The young man who served us was very nice, no trace of impatience. We'll definitely be back. 5 *****

Disabled guests, NO thanks !! Yes, we liked to eat in the Waldlust and often invited friends or guests there. Now, after the Corona loosening, we were able to take our disabled granddaughter back with us. Before we got the disabled person out of our car, I asked where there was room for 3 people in the beer garden. On the way to the assigned table, our handicapped granddaughter's joy at the long-awaited change was audible, but we had hardly taken a seat when the waiter came up to us and pointed out to us in a friendly but firm manner that it was not possible with the child and we should go better. He insolently added, >> After all, you have to understand that other guests might feel disturbed by the child <<. A remarkable restaurant culture that not only lost our appetite.

The food is delicious. No matter whether jellied meat with fried potatoes or mushroom cream schnitzel. Very nice service. Recommended !!

Amazing! One of the few restaurants in which all 25 people in the group get food at the same time, which is then still warm. Food was great! Meat super tender!

Despite the friendly service and surprisingly short waiting time until the food was served for 8 people at the same time, only 3 asterisks because my warm blood and liver sausage burned the blood sausage totally and the fried potatoes were fried with too much fat and soaked up. A lot of fried onions did not help to cover them. The side salad was absolutely fresh and delicious.

Home cooking. Looking forward to the goose. The few words do not do justice to the Waldlust house. The goose was excellent and we were very full. As always, the innkeeper as well as the entire service staff served very, very friendly. The quality of all dishes excellent and without any problems. I already went to this inn or restaurant with my grandma's watch and then with my grandma and now with my parents. We are always happy to be a guest here and look forward to the delicious food. I personally know how difficult gastronomy is and can be. But the lust for the forest is and will always be on a very good path. Thank you very much for all the years of good hospitality.

Goose yummy! Goose eating in a large group: Last week we were with the group of 30 people in the Waldlust to eat goose. Delicious. The organization in advance was relaxed and easy and the service in the restaurant was highly professional. We particularly liked the humor in dealing with a large group. We'll be back!

Great Food, Service and Atmosphere! Small restaurant with a big heart and attention to detail. Found it by driving by and glad we stopped to try it out. Will definitely be back!

nice guest house in Rambach. Decor is nice. Food still has potential upwards. Kitchen is currently closing at 9pm and is open until 10pm. Cash only and Saturday is closed. Staff is friendly. Food was extremely fast on the table which you noticed in the quality and taste (negative). Cider was okay .. but the bite was missing ... Therefore ... certain things still have potential upwards ....
